Job Description / Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and reconciliation processes.
• Record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, expenses, sales, and payments.
• Manage ledger entries, journal entries, contra, payment, receipt vouchers, and petty cash transactions.
• Generate client invoices based on project milestones, timesheets, or contract terms.
• Review Profit and Loss Account and Balance Sheet and make adjustment entries.
• Prepare the Income Tax returns, TDS returns, GST returns for the organization.
• To ensure legal compliances and look after income tax and GST related activities.
• Ensure proper documentation for GST input credit and reconciliation with GSTR-2A.
• Follow up with clients for outstanding payments and send timely reminders..
• Manage vendor accounts, verify bills, and ensure timely payments..
• Experience in filing ESIC & EPF Return.
• Liaisoning with bank officials (as and when required).
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities..
• Prepare monthly payroll processing including salary calculation, deductions, reconciliation and payment file in a timely manner.
• Maintain payroll and employee reimbursement records.
• Liaise with HR for employee onboarding, exit, and payroll changes.
• Ensure compliance with governmental laws on payroll accounting and taxes.
• Stay up to date on local, state and international tax laws.
• Coordinate with external auditors for statutory and tax audits.
• Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information to the management.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accounting systems..
• Coordinating with lawyers/consultants on tax-related issues.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all financial and employee data.

Desired profile of the candidate

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• 1-3 years of experience as an Accountant or similar role (Preferably for a startup)
• Competent in Advance MS- Excel (X-lookup, V-lookup) & Google sheets
• Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills
• Solid knowledge of Indian statutory requirements (PF, ESI, TDS, GST, Income Tax).
• Familiarity with payroll software and HRMS systems is an added advantage.
• Ability to manage deadlines and multitask.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Well versed with accounting software like Zoho Books, Tally etc.

Min. Exp. -1 Years

Max. Exp. -3 Years

Compensation range -Rs. 2,40,000 – 4,00,000 PA

Working shift -Day shift (10 A.M – 7P.M.)

Working days- Monday to Friday

Joining period- Immediate joiners are preferable
