Job brief:

We are in search of a disciplined and resilient Bookkeeping Accountant to join our team. This role requires a skilled and detail-oriented professional responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, executing diverse bookkeeping tasks, and ensuring compliance with pertinent regulations in India. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of establishing best practices in Accounting and will operate with a profound understanding of the intricacies of the accounting process.

  • Financial Transactions Management:

    Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Record-Keeping:

    Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions, entries, and adjustments
  • Bank Reconciliation:

    Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial records
  • Document Processing:

    Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial documents
  • Financial Reporting:

    Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and summaries
  • Expense Monitoring:

    Monitor and track expenses, budgets, and cash flow
  • Tax Compliance:

    Assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations
  • Audit Support:

    Provide support during audits and financial reviews
  • Regulatory Compliance:

    Stay updated with changes in accounting standards, regulations, and best practices
  • Team Collaboration:

    Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated expertise as a Bookkeeping Accountant or in a comparable position.
  • Proficiency in leading accounting software such as Tally and the MS Office Suite, with a preference for advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Thorough comprehension of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and precision in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Capacity to work autonomously and adeptly prioritize tasks.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal proficiencies.
  • ICWA certification is desirable but not obligatory.
