Finance Assistant

Job Title: Finance Assistant Location: Siliguri Department: Finance Job Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to support the finance team with day-to-day financial tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of basic accounting principles, good organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes. Maintain accurate financial records and data entry. Reconcile bank statements and company accounts. Assist in preparing financial reports and monthly management accounts. Help with processing invoices, expenses, and payroll. Support the budgeting and forecasting process. Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders as needed. Assist with audits and year-end financial processes. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations. Qualifications: MBA in Finance. 1–2 years of relevant experience in a finance or accounting role preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Good organizational and time management skills. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity. Desirable Skills: Experience in a similar role. Familiarity with financial regulations and reporting standards. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
