Finance Analyst – Customer
Job Description
Scope of Management Responsibility:
As part of the Finance team that supports the Customer Business Unit this role supports a Finance Business Partner providing timely and accurate financial reporting and data driven analytical support.
Whilst the role functionally reports up within Finance the ability to build strong relationships with the business and other support functions is key.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Proactively and with a degree of independence complete the monthly reporting deliverables to the required deadlines, including the FTEs, Labour, and Non/Labour reports
Provide accurate reporting and insightful analysis as required
Investigate and explain variances to forecast (month), plan (year to date) and prior year. Providing insight and context as required.
Support the preparation and interpretation of financial plans and forecasts
Answering queries from Finance Business Partners and business managers
Contribute to improving reporting processes data quality and data capture across multiple platforms. Verifying data accuracy and consistency
Liaise, communicate, and work in collaboration across the finance community
Ad hoc financial analysis and investigation
Knowledge and Experience:
Business / Strategic Impact
Timely submission of data, reports and analysis
High standard of outputs with no errors or corrections
Insightful analysis that enable data driven decision making
Skills and Abilities:
High degree of accuracy in all activities
Ability to communicate effectively
Able to develop strong relationships and work collaboratively with key contacts across Keyloop
Strong time management and multi-tasking skills
Ability to work remotely with teams of different cultures
Ability to work under pressure, displaying positive attitude as a team player
Strong command of English
Ability to adhere to finance policies and procedures
Qualifications required: Role ideal for candidates wanting to study or part qualified CIMA, ACCA, ACA etc.
Strong command of Excel and ideally Power BI
