Job Description

Role Overview Our client is seeking a meticulous and proactive Finance & Accounting Manager to own internal compliance and customer payroll administration. This role combines hands-on financial management, compliance oversight, and payroll excellence — ensuring that their financial processes meet global standards of accuracy, integrity, and timeliness. You’ll play a key role in building scalable financial systems, ensuring statutory compliance, and maintaining our clients’ trust through precision and reliability. Key Responsibilities • Payroll & Employee Onboarding • Configure client payroll setups including employee data, salary structure (fixed and variable components), and deductions. • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for internal and client accounts — covering hires, exits, and salary revisions. • Address employee queries regarding salary, tax, TDS, and income tax proofs with clarity and accuracy. • Accounting & Financial Systems • Implement, maintain, and review financial systems and processes for accuracy, control, and compliance. • Record and reconcile all financial transactions — payments, receipts, transfers, loan settlements, and interest journals. • Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and accounts receivable reviews. • Ensure error-free vendor payments and maintain documentation for audit readiness. • Compliance & Statutory Filings • Ensure timely compliance with GST, EPF, ESI, PT, TDS, and other statutory requirements. Coordinate with consultants and government authorities for filings, inspections, and clarifications. • Support internal and external audits by maintaining complete and accurate financial records. • Handle international compliance coordination as Asanify expands globally. • Cross-functional Coordination • Collaborate with HR, Product, and Customer Success teams to streamline payroll operations for clients. • Partner with leadership to identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements in finance workflows. What You’ll Bring • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (CA Inter preferred). • 5+ years of experience in payroll accounting, statutory compliance, or financial operations. • Strong understanding of Indian statutory laws (GST, EPF, ESI, TDS) and exposure to international compliance is a plus. • Exceptional attention to detail with a zero-tolerance mindset for errors. • Proficiency in Excel, Tally, Zoho Books, or equivalent accounting tools; familiarity with SaaS environments preferred. • Integrity, ownership, and a continuous learning mindset.
