Job Description

As a Sales Manager at our company, you will be responsible for ensuring the achievement of overall and region-wise sales targets. Your key responsibilities will include: - Acquiring new customers and maintaining business relationships with existing corporate customers. - Performing software sales presentations to generate sales and ensure revenue targets are met. - Forecasting sales and managing the sales funnel effectively. - Formulating segment-wise business strategies and implementing focused initiatives. - Implementing sales strategies set by corporate management. - Participating in segment-specific promotional activities like roadshows and seminars, and travelling regularly to promote Trimble products and services. - Working with business leads to prepare market analysis reports on specific segments. - Growing the ownership segment by implementing strategic business decisions. - Providing periodical updates to business leads about sales status as required. In terms of measures of success, you will be evaluated based on: - Successful achievement of given sales targets. - Year-on-year growth in the respected area and assigned segment. - Acquisition of new accounts and revenue from the given territory. - Healthy revenue generation from new accounts compared to existing accounts. - Maintaining a good pipeline of leads and growing the sales funnel. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering. An MBA will be considered an added advantage. Skills & Experience Required: - 5+ years of experience preferably in software/IT segment sales and business development. - Experience in selling 3D BIM/CAD/CAM/CNC/PLM applications. Sales of AEC, Civil, and Structural Steel software solutions will be an added advantage. - Strong computer skills including Excel, CRM, and PowerPoint. - A strong and presentable personality with a good command of verbal and written English. - Enthusiastic and proactive about domestic and international travel as per business needs. - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multicultural environment to develop good working relationships within the Trimble Group.,
