Job Description

You will be responsible for ensuring the achievement of overall sales targets both at the regional level and overall. Your main tasks will include acquiring new customers while also maintaining relationships with existing corporate clients. Conducting software sales presentations to drive sales and meet revenue targets will be a key aspect of your role. It will also be crucial to manage sales forecasts and the sales funnel effectively. You will need to develop segment-wise business strategies and execute focused initiatives accordingly. Implementation of sales strategies set by corporate management will be a part of your responsibilities. You will engage in segment-specific promotional activities such as roadshows and seminars, requiring frequent travel to promote Trimble products and services. Collaborating with business leads to prepare market analysis reports for specific segments will also be expected. Success in this role will be measured by meeting sales targets, achieving year-on-year growth in the designated area and segment, acquiring new accounts and revenue, and generating healthy revenue from new accounts compared to existing ones. Maintaining a robust pipeline of leads and expanding the sales funnel will also contribute to your success. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil engineering, with an MBA being an added advantage. You should have at least 5 years of experience, preferably in software/IT sales and business development. Experience in selling 3D BIM/CAD/CAM/CNC/PLM applications, as well as AEC, Civil, and Structural Steel software solutions, will be beneficial. Proficiency in computer skills such as Excel, CRM, and PowerPoint is essential. A strong, presentable personality with excellent verbal and written English skills is required. Enthusiasm and readiness for both domestic and international travel as per business requirements are necessary. Additionally, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment to foster good working relationships within the Trimble Group are important qualities for this role.,
