Job Description

MGrow, in partnership with MNNIT Prayagraj and MG Motors, has launched India’s most comprehensive EV Upskilling Program for engineering and diploma students.

The Business Development Manager is responsible for designing and executing strategies to bring students from polytechnic and engineering colleges. This is a field-focused, target-driven role requiring strong networking, persuasion, and partnership-building skills.


Primary Job:

  • To enrol the candidates in the EV Upskilling Program


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute outreach strategies to recruit students from polytechnic and engineering institutions.
  • Identify new colleges, regions, and student segments for expansion of recruitment activity.
  • Build and manage partnerships with college managers, placement officers, faculty, and other key decision-makers to create opportunities for student engagement.
  • Proactively source and follow up with student leads from field visits, fairs, online channels, and referrals.
  • Track outreach activities, enrollments, and KPIs; report progress to senior management.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in engineering/technology, business, or related field).
  • 3–5 years of experience in student recruitment, business development, or academic outreach, preferably in higher education or technical training sectors.
  • Proven networking skills and success in working with college/university stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to connect with diverse student and stakeholder audiences.
  • Strong sales orientation with a proven ability to meet or exceed student enrollment goals.
  • Willingness to travel regionally to visit campuses.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with engineering or polytechnic student populations.
  • Familiarity with digital student outreach and social media-driven lead generation.
  • Knowledge of LMS tools and hands-on learning methodologies.
  • Fluency in Hindi and regional languages is a strong advantage.
