Field Sales Executive

Conduct field visits to identify potential customers for solar power systems. Promote the benefits of solar energy over GEDA electricity, including cost savings, sustainability, and long-term ROI. Generate leads through door-to-door visits, referrals, site visits, and local networking. Explain solar system capacity, pricing, subsidies, payback period, and net metering to customers. Arrange and coordinate site surveys with the technical team. Prepare and present sales proposals and quotations. Follow up with prospective clients and close sales targets as assigned. Coordinate with installation, operations, and documentation teams for smooth execution. Assist customers with subsidy, net-metering, and documentation processes, if applicable. Maintain daily sales activity reports, visit reports, and customer data. Monitor competitor activities and provide market feedback to management. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and post-sale support. Knowledge of capacity calculation (kW / MW) and energy generation basics Awareness of government solar policies, subsidies, and net metering Strong B2B field sales experience Ability to identify industrial & commercial prospects (factories, warehouses, cold storage, hospitals, hotels) Lead generation through plant visits, references, industrial estates Conducting technical–commercial presentations Negotiation skills for pricing, commercial terms, and closures Achieving monthly / quarterly sales targets Excellent verbal and written communication (English + local language) Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms to non-technical clients Coordination with DISCOM / GEDA / GEDA-equivalent agencies Basic knowledge of statutory approvals & documentation Liaison with consultants, vendors, and government offices (if required) Professional follow-up and after-meeting coordination
