Field Intern

Job Title: Field Intern Location: Guwahati, Assam Candidates must be based in or willing to relocate to Guwahati. The role involves frequent field visits within the city and nearby regions. Monthly Stipend: ₹10,000 Additional Requirements: •⁠ ⁠A personal laptop is mandatory •⁠ ⁠A smartphone •⁠ ⁠A two-wheeler with valid driving documents is essential for field mobility. Key Responsibilities Campaign Coordination: •⁠ ⁠Assist in field-level coordination between the internal team and stakeholders such as volunteers, party workers, and community members. •⁠ ⁠Support the execution of grassroots campaign activities aligned with project goals. Data Collection & Reporting: •⁠ ⁠Gather and organize field data from outreach and campaign efforts. •⁠ ⁠Assist in preparing reports, summaries, and basic dashboards using Excel and PowerPoint. Stakeholder Engagement: •⁠ ⁠Coordinate with local influencers, volunteers, and community leaders to facilitate events and outreach programs. •⁠ ⁠Support execution of door-to-door campaigns, community meets, and visibility drives. Strategic Support: •⁠ ⁠Contribute to the on-ground implementation of campaign strategies and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks. •⁠ ⁠Follow campaign work plans and report on progress and challenges. Research & Analysis: •⁠ ⁠Conduct primary field research and basic political analysis to track local issues and sentiments. •⁠ ⁠Help compile findings into actionable summaries. Team Coordination: •⁠ ⁠Work closely with operations, data, and media teams to support campaign execution. •⁠ ⁠Ensure fieldwork reflects the core direction of the central campaign team. Operational Assistance: •⁠ ⁠Assist with documentation of daily field activities. •⁠ ⁠Help manage logistical requirements for fieldwork and campaign events. Qualifications & Skills •⁠ ⁠Students or recent graduates from reputed institutions (Bachelor’s or Master’s level). •⁠ ⁠Prior experience in internships, volunteering, or fieldwork is a plus. •⁠ ⁠Ability to work in fast-paced, field-intensive settings. •⁠ ⁠Good communication and interpersonal skills. •⁠ ⁠Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). •⁠ ⁠Interest in social impact, public policy, or political campaigns.
