Field Coordinator

What You'll be doing:

1. Program Coordination & Delivery:

• Manage the day-to-day implementation of the program at the assigned location.
• Support trainers with session logistics (tools, materials, attendance).
• Monitor learner engagement, attendance, and task completion across weeks.
• Track and report session-level feedback and escalate issues when needed.
• Coordinate capstone team formation, project tracking, and final presentation schedules.

2. Learner Support:

• Act as the first point of contact for learners regarding tools, assignments, and platform access.
• Encourage learners through 1:1 or small group mentoring check-ins, especially those falling behind.
• Maintain a healthy, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.

3. Administrative & Reporting:

• Maintain detailed records of attendance, assignments, and performance.
• Submit weekly learner status reports, including risk flags (e.g., dropout risk).
• Coordinate with the central team to share success stories, photos, or data for reporting.

4. Stakeholder Coordination:

• Liaise with trainers, content providers and tech teams.
• Assist during guest sessions, industry talks, mock interviews, and graduation ceremonies.
• Support resume reviews and job-readiness checklist completion in Weeks 11–12.

Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Education, or related field (required).
• Certification in Python, Data Science, AI/ML (desirable but not mandatory).

Technical Skills:

• Basic to intermediate Python programming (functions, lists, loops, file I/O, scikit-learn).
• Understanding of AI concepts: supervised learning, classification, clustering (basic level).
• Strong communication and facilitation abilities.
• Empathy and patience in dealing with learners from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time across multiple tasks.

Preferred Experience:

• 1–3 years in a coordination, teaching assistant, program support, or education outreach role.
• Experience working with youth, early-career professionals, or skilling programs.
• Exposure to career-readiness or employability training is a plus.
