As a Field Campaign Associate/ Lead, you will be at the forefront of political and policy campaigns, working closely with party leadership, local stakeholders, elected representatives, and community influencers to shape and execute high-impact political strategies.
This is a hands-on opportunity for those interested in electoral campaigns, policy research, strategic communications, and on-ground mobilisation. You’ll also work alongside senior campaign strategists and public policy professionals who will guide your growth in political consulting and field operations.
• Conduct field-level political research (both primary and secondary) to assess socio-political dynamics, local governance challenges, public service delivery gaps, voter priorities
and voter behaviour.
• Create strategic campaign reports and comprehensive political intelligence reports to support party decisions and messaging.
• Provide data-driven strategic insights to party leaders and campaign managers. Facilitate on-ground political engagement by coordinating with party workers, elected representatives, grassroots influencers, and civil society.
• Design and implement hyperlocal/micro-campaigns to boost voter engagement and narrative penetration. Ensure consistent political communication across local and regional stakeholders to maintain alignment with central campaign objectives
• Manage campaign operations and logistics during elections and political events.
• Monitor and report on the impact of campaigns and policy outreach, providing iterative feedback to refine strategies. Maintain operational oversight of field teams, vendors, and logistics for smooth campaign execution.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any field, preferably from a premier institution. (preferred: Public Policy, Political Science, Journalism, Development Studies, Sociology, Economics).
• 2 to 3+ years of experience in fieldwork, political consulting, policy research, journalism, communications, marketing, or community organising.
• Strong command over Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Proficiency in Tamil (reading and writing) is mandatory, with strong verbal and written English skills.
• Passion for politics, public service, and social change.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team coordination skills.
• Agility to navigate complex political environments and timelines.
• Willingness to travel and relocate across Tamil Nadu based on campaign needs.
• Flexible to work extended hours, including weekends and public holidays during peak campaign periods.
