FIC Risk and Control Assessment (RCA) - Veteran Hiring

Role Overview: You will be joining the Business Control Unit (BCU) as an AVP in Mumbai, India, which is a 1st Line of Defence function supporting the front office in executing the Non-Financial Risk framework for the business line. Your primary responsibility will be to support the Risk and Control Assessment (RCA) process within the BCU. This role involves control testing, incident research, remediation, and other ad hoc control initiatives and projects, working closely with teams within and outside the division to understand dynamic risks impacting the group. Key Responsibilities: - Collate and analyze contextual data and relevant triggers to maintain an accurate Risk Profile and Emerging Risks view - Update Inherent Risk, Control Suite & Residual Risk rating with supporting rationale, liaising with Risk Types SMEs - Coordinate Anti-Financial Crime and Compliance risk assessments within the business Risk Profile - Participate in quarterly US/annual global RCA workshop and create monthly RCA snapshot - Support Non-Financial Risk Councils, DMA perimeter validation, control inventory maintenance, and Front Office Operational Risk Framework - Provide support for audit reviews, compliance testing, senior management reporting, and analytical support - Manage ad-hoc tasks as required Qualifications Required: - MBA in Finance from a premier institution with relevant experience - Work experience in banking domain focusing on regulatory projects/operational risk management - Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills - Ability to work as part of a global team and manage the RCA process - Proficiency in data management, databases, Excel, and PowerPoint - Strong analytical skills and ability to present information clearly and compellingly - Confidence to challenge existing business practices/control frameworks (Note: The additional details about the company were not included in the provided job description),
