Job Description: FC Lead (Fulfilment Center Lead)

Department: Operations / Supply Chain
Location: Multi-location role (HR, MH, BLR, WB – travel required)
Reports To: Head of Operations / Supply Chain Manager

Role Overview

The FC Lead will be responsible for end-to-end warehouse and fulfilment operations across multiple locations. This role ensures efficient inbound, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, inventory accuracy, manpower management, and SLA adherence while maintaining cost efficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Warehouse & Fulfilment Operations

• Oversee daily operations across all fulfilment centers (HR, MH, BLR, WB).
• Ensure smooth inbound, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch processes.
• Monitor order fulfilment accuracy and ensure on-time dispatch as per marketplace SLAs.

2. Inventory Management

• Ensure high inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits.
• Monitor stock ageing, damages, expiries, and discrepancies.
• Coordinate with category, procurement, and finance teams for stock reconciliation.

3. Team & Manpower Management

• Lead and manage warehouse managers, supervisors, and ground staff.
• Plan manpower based on volume forecasts and peak sales periods.
• Ensure proper training, discipline, attendance, and productivity tracking.

4. Process Improvement & Cost Control

• Implement SOPs and best practices to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive continuous process improvements.
• Control operational costs including manpower, packaging, and logistics.

5. Marketplace & Logistics Coordination

• Coordinate with logistics partners and courier teams for smooth pickups.
• Handle escalations related to delays, RTOs, damages, and short shipments.
• Ensure compliance with Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Zepto, and other platform SOPs (if applicable).

6. Reporting & Compliance

• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS on dispatch, inventory, ageing, and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, and company policies.
• Support audits and internal controls at all warehouse locations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
• 5–8 years of experience in e-commerce / FMCG warehouse operations
• Experience managing multiple warehouses is mandatory
• Willingness to travel across locations

Preferred Experience

• Experience with multi-state warehouse operations
• Familiarity with B2C & B2B fulfilment models
• Exposure to high-volume sales events and peak operations

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹70,000.00 per month
