Factory Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Factory Manager to oversee and manage the entire garment production process. The candidate should ensure timely delivery, quality standards, and efficient production planning while coordinating with all internal departments and updating the Managing Director regularly.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan, manage, and monitor day-to-day production activities in the factory.

* Manpower planning, shift scheduling, and ensuring productivity targets are met.

* Coordinate with the Merchandising team for order planning, pricing approvals, and delivery timelines.

* Monitor production efficiency, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.

* Track fabric & trim availability and ensure production timelines are not delayed.

* Review and control rejections, reworks, and quality issues in coordination with the QC team.

* Maintain clear communication with all departments – merchandising, sampling, printing, embroidery, finishing, etc.

* Ensure all processes follow standard operating procedures and compliance.

* Provide regular updates and reports to the Managing Director on production status, challenges, and solutions.

* Handle supplier visits, and ensure smooth operations.

Key Skills:

* Strong leadership and people management skills

* Sound knowledge of garment manufacturing processes (especially knits)

* Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines

* Good coordination and communication skills

* Familiarity with production tracking systems/ERP is an added advantage
