Job Description

As the Infrastructure & Maintenance Manager, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the uninterrupted operation of critical facilities such as electricity, water supply, HVAC, lifts, DG sets, and medical gas pipelines. You will be tasked with implementing preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for college buildings, hospital wards, lecture halls, hostels, labs, and libraries to minimize breakdowns within defined MTTR and MTBF targets. In the domain of Compliance & Safety, you will be expected to maintain adherence to regulatory standards set by NMC, NABH, Fire Safety, Pollution Control Board, and Biomedical Waste Management Rules. This will involve timely renewal of licenses and certifications, along with conducting safety audits and mock drills for students, staff, and patients. Your role will also encompass overseeing Support Services Management, which includes ensuring cleanliness and hygiene in various areas like hostels, lecture halls, hospital wards, OPDs, and laboratories. You will need to guarantee the effective operation of housekeeping, security, laundry, gardening, and cafeteria services, while monitoring biomedical and general waste disposal in compliance with statutory norms. Vendor & Manpower Management will be a crucial aspect of your responsibilities, involving the supervision of facility management staff, ward boys, technicians, security personnel, and outsourced manpower. You will be required to ensure vendor SLA compliance, cost-effective contract management, and conduct regular training and skill enhancement programs for the facility management staff. Budgeting & Resource Optimization will fall under your purview, where you will be responsible for preparing and controlling facility management budgets for the college and teaching hospital. Implementing cost-saving initiatives in utilities and tracking energy consumption and sustainability initiatives will be key tasks for you. In Campus & Hostel Management, you will need to maintain hostel facilities and teaching facilities to academic standards, ensuring a safe, secure, and conducive environment for students, faculty, and patients. Emergency & Crisis Preparedness will require you to be prepared for both medical and non-medical emergencies, maintaining a disaster management plan for the hospital and college, and conducting periodic drills and training for students and staff. Stakeholder Satisfaction will be vital, where you will aim to achieve high satisfaction scores from students, faculty, patients, and visitors regarding campus facilities. Timely resolution of complaints through a structured grievance/complaint management system and maintaining transparent reporting to management on facility performance will be essential. This is a full-time role that requires your presence on-site, with an expected start date of 01/09/2025.,
