Job Summary

The Facilities Executive will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning, safety, and upkeep of campus infrastructure and related services. This role involves managing vendors, maintaining cleanliness, coordinating repairs and maintenance, and supporting day-to-day operational needs across academic and non-academic blocks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily facilities operations, including cleanliness, security, electrical, plumbing, and maintenance services.
  • Supervise housekeeping, security, and maintenance staff to ensure quality standards are maintained.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repair, AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts), and service work.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain records related to facility maintenance schedules, consumables, and inspections.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Monitor utility usage (electricity, water, etc.) and implement energy-saving measures.
  • Assist in space management for classrooms, labs, events, and administrative offices.
  • Support logistics and facility arrangements for events, workshops, and meetings.
  • Respond to facility-related emergencies in a timely and efficient manner.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Graduate in any discipline (preferably with certification/diploma in Facility Management or related field).
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in facility management, preferably in an academic or institutional setup.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
