Job Description

Our client

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead and manage fabrication, erection, and installation activities for CIL tanks, pipe spools, and structural steel works.
Oversee fabrication shop operations, including production planning, scheduling, manpower, and quality control.
Review and interpret fabrication drawings, welding procedures, and technical specifications.
Ensure strict adherence to international standards and safety compliance across all operations.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors for project execution, inspections, and approvals.
Supervise production teams of welders, fabricators, and site staff ensuring optimal performance.
Liaise with procurement and logistics for material planning, delivery, and dispatch.
Implement cost control measures, efficiency improvements, and maintenance programs.
Prepare detailed progress reports, QA/QC documentation, and project schedules.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

B.E./B.Tech in
Mechanical Engineering
with
1220 years
of experience in steel fabrication and infrastructure projects.
Proven expertise in fabrication of
CIL tanks, pressure vessels, pipe spools, and heavy structural steel
.
In-depth knowledge of
welding processes, surface treatment, and material handling
.
Familiar with
ASME, AWS, IS, and BS standards
.
Strong
leadership, communication, and problem-solving
skills.
Hands-on experience in
fabrication yard management and project coordination
.
Proficiency in
MS Office
and exposure to
ERP or fabrication planning software
preferred.
Ability to work under pressure and lead teams in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
