Shift Supervisor

Our client is a prominent leader in the tissue paper manufacturing industry, known for producing high-quality products for both domestic and commercial use. They are currently seeking Shift Supervisor to join their dynamic team and support their ongoing growth and success.

Responsibilities

• Manage schedules, shifts, and time off, ensuring smooth production at the Mill.
• Oversee task delegation, employee assessments, training, and provide guidance.
• Handle complaints, resolve conflicts, and ensure quality compliance.
• Lead manufacturing operations, focusing on productivity, safety, and cost-efficiency.
• Promote safe work practices and participate in safety activities.
• Monitor equipment, minimize waste, and improve processes.
• Coordinate production activities, conduct meetings, and assist in maintenance.
• Submit reports and perform additional duties as needed

WORKING HOURS & CONDITIONS:

• Employee is required to work in shifts
• Shift hours are 8 am to 2 pm, 8 am to 8 pm, 2 pm to 8 pm, 8 pm to 8 am
• Total minimum weekly working hours with one rest day is 55 hrs

Requirements

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Diploma in Chemical Engineering from a reputable institution
• Minimum Three (3) Years in Tissue or Kraft Paper Mill

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of the manufacturing processes, procedures, and machinery. This is normally acquired through two to five years of manufacturing experience.
• Manual dexterity is required for operating machinery and computers.
