Job Description

Position Overview

Vispala Technologies is seeking an Export Sales Professional who shall be responsible for driving international sales, expanding global market presence, and building long-term relationships with distributors, clinics, hospitals, NGOs and rehabilitation centers.

This role focuses specifically on prosthetic devices and related mobility solutions. The candidate will manage the full export cycle—from prospecting and negotiation to logistics coordination and after-sales support.


Key Responsibilities

1.

  • Identify, develop, and manage new international markets for prosthetic products.
  • Generate leads and establish partnerships with distributors, orthotic & prosthetic (O&P) clinics, NGOs, and government bodies.\
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly/annual export sales targets.

 

2.

  • Build strong relationships with overseas clients and maintain regular communication.
  • Provide product training, demonstrations, and technical guidance to distributors and O&P professionals.
  • Handle customer queries, complaints, and after-sales support professionally.

 

3. Market Research & Strategy

  • Conduct market analysis to understand local regulations, pricing, competition, and customer needs.
  • Suggest product adaptations based on regional requirements and market trends.
  • Develop country-wise sales strategies and expansion plans.

 

4. Export Operations & Documentation

  • Coordinate with internal teams for order processing, packaging, compliance, and dispatch.
  • Ensure all export documentation (invoice, packing list, COO, CE/FDA certifications, shipping documents) is completed accurately.
  • Work with freight forwarders, customs agents, and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery.

 

5. Marketing & Trade Representation

  • Participate in international trade fairs, conferences, and exhibitions related to prosthetics and mobility solutions.
  • Support marketing teams with region-specific promotional materials.
  • Conduct virtual or on-site product workshops.

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
  • MBA or specialization in export management is an advantage.

 

Experience

  • 3–5 years of international sales/export experience in medical devices, prosthetics, orthotics, rehabilitation products, or healthcare equipment.

 

Technical Knowledge

  • Understanding of prosthetic or other medical devices, components (liners, feet, knees, sockets), and clinical usage is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with global medical regulations (ISO standards, CE marking, FDA, MDR).

 

Skills

  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Knowledge of export documentation, INCOTERMS, customs processes.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office.
  • Ability to work independently in multi-cultural environments.
