The Role: Export Sales Executive

Agra

Key Responsibilities
  • International Sales Growth:

    Aggressively identify, target, and acquire new distributors, importers, and B2B clients in international markets, focusing on increasing sales volume for frozen

    Sweet Corn

    and

    Green Peas

    .
  • Client Relationship Management:

    Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing international clients to ensure continued business and maximize repeat orders.
  • Contract Negotiation & Execution:

    Lead end-to-end negotiation of commercial terms, pricing, and supply contracts with international buyers, ensuring profitability and compliance.
  • Documentation & Compliance:

    Oversee and manage comprehensive export documentation (

    shipping bills, B/L, P.I., S.O., COO, Phytosanitary Certs, etc.

    ) and ensure strict compliance with all destination country import regulations, APEDA, FSSAI, and international standards (

    ISO 22000, HACCP

    ).
  • Market Intelligence:

    Conduct market research to identify new geographical opportunities, track competitor activity, and stay abreast of global frozen food trends and regulatory changes.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination:

    Collaborate closely with the

    Production, Quality Assurance, and Logistics

    teams to forecast demand, schedule shipments, and ensure timely, compliant delivery of frozen goods.
Required Qualifications
  • Mandatory:

    Minimum of

    3-5 years

    of demonstrated, hands-on experience in

    Export Sales

    with a primary focus on the

    Frozen Food/Agro Products industry

    .
  • Proven Track Record:

    Documented success in meeting and exceeding international sales targets and expanding market share.
  • Expert Knowledge:

    In-depth understanding of the frozen food cold chain, including best practices for storage, transportation, and quality preservation.
  • Trade Proficiency:

    Expertise in international trade regulations, customs procedures, INCOTERMS 2020, foreign exchange, and managing complex export documentation.
  • Communication & Negotiation:

    Exceptional communication, presentation, and cross-cultural negotiation skills.
  • Education:

    Bachelor's degree in International Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
  • Work Style:

    Highly self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working effectively both independently and as a team leader.
