Role & responsibilities

We have 5 positions

Export sales - 3 (For Africa , Middle east & South east Asia)- Location is flexible from india any city preferably Pune / Delhi/ Baroda he can operate from any city in india

Domestic - Delhi / Baroda / Pune - location is flexible in north & west region

Primary responsibility for achieving OI in allocated territory, entering new markets and

selling new revamp solutions

1. Business Development:

- Proactively identify potential customers, projects, and business opportunities in the

commercial sector.

- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of leads through networking, cold calling, and

market research.

- Establish and foster relationships with key stakeholders, including architects,

consultants, contractors, and developers.

-Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues, and products. Practice effective,

excellent communication with management, customers, and support staff.

2. Sales Management:

- Present product offerings and solutions to customers in a compelling and informative

manner.

- Develop customized proposals and quotations for commercial projects, ensuring they align

with customer requirements and budgets.

- Manage the sales process from prospecting to closing deals, coordinating with internal

teams to ensure smooth execution.

3. Expertise:

- Develop a deep understanding of product portfolio, staying updated on industry trends and

new product developments.

- Provide technical expertise and guidance to customers, addressing their inquiries and

assisting with product selection.

-Sufficient knowledge of financial, contractual (bonds & guarantees,) and legal (obligations,

penalties) aspects to be able to interface with internal relevant parties, and assess impacts

on costing

4. Collaboration and Teamwork:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, engineering, and customer

support, to ensure seamless customer experiences.

- Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and conferences to stay informed and

share best practices.

-Develop and manage partner relationships in region and work with the Inside Sales Team

of the region

5. Sales Reporting and Forecasting:

- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and update customer information in the CRM

system.

- Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to sales management

- Develop and manage sales pipeline, prospect, and assess sales and move a large

number of transactions simultaneously through the sales pipeline.

Preferred candidate profile

BE with 7 - 15 yrs of experience of selling projects / Capital equipment in power sector)

Business Acumen; Flair for Sales & Marketing

  • Expertise in the subject and business of Boilers (especially Solid fuel fired CFBC, AFBC,

travelling grate, WHRB, O & G Fired Boilers),

  • Ability to work in teams, excellent communication skills, fair knowledge of the revamp

market and clients, good customer reach, willingness to travel at sites, technology savvy,

self-starter and ability to take new initiatives, develop and pursue ideas, ability to develop

cross-functional camaraderie, committed to grow the business and profitability

  • High capability to manage efficient team working to produce the Cost-effective Bid

deliverables within a limited time period and under stressful conditions

  • Be able to challenge proposals to obtain optimal solutions backed with commitments
  • High Communications skills, reporting capabilities
  • Sense of anticipation
