Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Export Manager with expertise in ductile iron products, manhole covers, and related castings. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of export documentation, international trade compliance, logistics, and global sales development. The role involves handling export operations, expanding international markets, and ensuring compliance with global trade regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Export Operations & Compliance

• Manage end-to-end export operations, including order processing, documentation, and shipping.
• Ensure compliance with international trade laws, customs regulations, and government export policies.
• Handle export documentation such as Letter of Credit (LC), Bill of Lading (BL), shipping invoices, and certificates of origin.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs clearance agents for timely deliveries.

Sales & Business Development

• Develop and implement export sales strategies to expand global markets for ductile iron products and manhole covers.
• Identify and establish relationships with international buyers, distributors, and government procurement agencies.
• Participate in global trade fairs, exhibitions, and business networking events to promote the companys products.
• Negotiate and finalize export contracts and pricing agreements with overseas clients.

Market Research & Strategy

• Conduct market research to identify demand trends and potential export opportunities.
• Analyze competitors, pricing, and international market dynamics for ductile products and manhole covers.
• Stay updated on global trade incentives, duty structures, and taxation policies affecting exports.

Logistics & Supply Chain Management

• Work with production, warehouse, and supply chain teams to ensure timely manufacturing and dispatch.
• Optimize supply chain processes to reduce costs and improve export efficiency.
• Handle inventory management for export orders.

Customer Relationship Management

• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and post-sales support for international clients.
• Build strong relationships with existing global distributors and customers to ensure repeat business.

Key Requirements:

• Education: Bachelors/Masters degree in International Business, Export Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 5-8 years of experience in export sales & operations within the ductile iron products, manhole covers, or casting industry.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of ductile iron casting processes, product specifications, and industry standards.
• Export Documentation Skills: Proficiency in handling LCs, BLs, customs clearance, export duty structures, and international shipping procedures.
• Communication Skills: Strong English communication skills; knowledge of additional foreign languages is a plus.
• Tech Skills: Familiarity with ERP systems, export documentation software, and MS Office.
• Certifications: PG Diploma in Export & Import Management (preferred).
