Role Overview

The Export Documentation & Operations Executive will manage end-to-end export processes including documentation, coordination with shipping lines / airlines, customs brokers, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

· Export Documentation

· • Prepare, verify, and process export documents such as Invoice, Packing List, BL / AWB, COO, SLI, and Shipping Instructions.

· • Ensure accurate documentation as per LC terms, customs requirements, and buyer country regulations.

· • Track and follow up on documents with shipping lines / CHA / transporters.

· Export Operations

· • Coordinate with transporters, warehouse team, customs brokers, shipping lines & airlines for scheduling.

· • Arrange booking with shipping lines / airlines / consolidators based on client requirements.

· • Monitor shipment execution from pick-up to loading and final dispatch.

· • Follow up with customs and ensure timely clearance of cargo.

· Customer Relations & Coordination

· • Update clients regularly regarding shipment status.

· • Communicate professionally with overseas agents and internal departments.

· • Resolve any operational issues related to export shipments.

· Compliance & Records

· • Maintain shipment files and document records in the system.

· • Ensure compliance with INCOTERMS, Export policy, and documentation standards.

· • Assist in preparing export MIS / reports for management.

Skills & Competencies Required

· • Strong knowledge of export documentation and shipping procedures.

· • Familiarity with freight forwarding operations and customs processes.

· • Proficient in MS Office & email communication.

· • Good coordination, communication, and time-management skills.

· • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (BBA / B.Com / Supply Chain / International Business).

• Diploma/Certification in Logistics / EXIM / International Trade is an added advantage.

Salary
