Job Description:

Veradigm is seeking a highly experienced and technically strong Expert Performance Engineer with a proven track record in designing and executing performance testing strategies for enterprise-scale applications. This role is ideal for someone with 7+ years of experience in performance engineering, a deep understanding of performance principles, and hands-on expertise with any industry-standard performance testing tools.

The ideal candidate may already have experience with LoadRunner Cloud or should be willing and able to quickly ramp up on it as part of our tech stack.

As a Performance Engineer, you will own and drive the performance testing lifecycle for our healthcare product suite, ensuring our cloud-hosted systems are optimized for speed, scalability, and reliability. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Architecture, Development, QA, and DevOps to integrate performance considerations from the ground up.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the performance engineering expert and evangelist across the product team
• Define, track, and report on performance KPIs and SLAs for product features and services
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Architects to derive performance requirements from business and technical specifications
• Design realistic load models, create test plans, and develop virtual user scripts using LoadRunner Cloud
• Set up, maintain, and tune test environments for performance testing
• Execute various types of performance tests (load, stress, spike, endurance)
• Analyze test results to identify bottlenecks at app, database, or infrastructure levels
• Provide recommendations for tuning and optimization across the stack
• Create and maintain documentation on performance tests, tooling, and procedures
• Participate in sprint ceremonies to ensure performance is factored into each development phase
• Mentor junior engineers and promote performance engineering best practices

Requirements:

• BTech/BE in Computer Science, Information Technology, BCA/MCA from reputed universities.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in performance testing and engineering
• Expertise with LoadRunner or similar tools (script development, scenario design, execution, and analysis)
• Skilled in using tools like Fiddler, Postman, or equivalent for API debugging and traffic inspection
• Proficiency in performance testing both UI and backend services (REST/SOAP APIs)
• Solid knowledge of .NET applications, SQL Server, and web-based architectures
• Strong analytical skills in interpreting logs, system metrics, and application behaviors
• Familiarity with working in CI/CD environments
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to work with cross-functional teams

Additional Skills a PLUS:

• Experience with other performance tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or NeoLoad
• Monitor system metrics and logs using APM and Azure-native tools
• Experience with Azure Cloud and its native monitoring tools (App Insights, Azure Monitor)
• Knowledge on Agile scrum methodology and SAFe.
