What will your job look like: Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer with over 5 years of experience in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for complex applications. The ideal candidate will be skilled in both UI and API automation, test framework development, and continuous integration practices, ensuring high-quality software delivery. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for web, mobile, and API-based applications . Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and DevOps engineers to ensure end-to-end quality assurance. Develop and execute automated regression, functional, integration, and performance tests . Maintain test data, environments, and version control of test artifacts. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab . Identify, log, and track bugs, and work closely with developers for quick resolution. Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to estimation and planning. Continuously evaluate test tools, technologies, and practices to improve test efficiency and coverage. An Ideal Candidate will have: Required Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years of hands-on experience in test automation for web and/or enterprise applications. Strong expertise in tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Postman, REST Assured , or equivalent. Proficiency in one or more programming languages: C#, Java, JavaScript, Python . Experience in testing REST APIs , microservices, and backend components. Advanced proficiency in SQL and performance tuning. Familiarity with BDD frameworks such as SpecFlow, Cucumber, or Behave . Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions , etc. Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies . Preferred Qualifications: Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner , or k6 . Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure , AWS , or Google Cloud . Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and test orchestration. ISTQB or equivalent certification in software testing.
