Job Description

This high-demanding role is for an enterprising Techno-Functional Leader to be a part of the management team and be a catalyst to achieve desired company goals.


A resilient, trusted leader who believes success is defined by the destination and impact achieved, combining deep techno-functional expertise with a vision for business growth and value creation for clients, shall be an ideal candidate for the role.


This hands-on leadership role will help finetuning the existing service offerings, ensuring they are differentiated, market-relevant, aligned with the clients’ expectations, technologically advanced and deliverable by Sciente “to delight clients”. Currently we are partner of Denodo, Dataiku, Databricks, Snowflake, Salesforce and AWS as technology partners.


Key Responsibilities

  • Start with delivering impact and results with available resources through strategic focus, agility, and a hands-on leadership approach.
  • Strategic Advisory: As a part of management team, define and refine the company’s service portfolio and go-to-market strategy in alignment with technology trends and customer needs.

Client Acquisition:

  • Capitalise on professional connections, existing sales funnel and support pre-sales efforts to acquire new clients.
  • Contribute regularly to the organization’s thought leadership by enhancing the Sciente’s brand as a trusted business technology partner in intelligent transformation on LinkedIn, speaking at conferences, and participating in industry forums.

Existing Client Engagement:

  • Enhance trusted client partnerships by exploring opportunities of cross-sell/up-sell.
  • Drive client satisfaction and value through quality delivery, financial discipline, and adoption of emerging data, cloud, and AI innovations.

Practice Leadership:

  • Build, lead and grow data and AI practices in collaboration with our strategic partners, driving innovation, solution excellence, and market differentiation.
  • Ramp-up the team as per client demands.
  • Deliver services that stand out in a competitive market, balancing innovation with practical execution.

Delivery Excellence:

  • Define and oversee delivery frameworks, governance models, knowledge management and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Provide strategic oversight of solution design and execution, ensuring alignment with business goals, budgets, and timelines.
  • Drive excellence in delivery through proactive risk management, stakeholder alignment, and continuous improvement.

Innovation & Market Alignment:

  • Continuously scan the technology and business landscape to identify new opportunities, industry shifts, and partnership potentials.
  • Explore opportunities to offer innovative and differentiated solutions to the clients e.g. by building domain-specific library of AI Agents and/or Data Products.
  • Champion internal innovation initiatives to enhance internal competencies, operational efficiency, optimize processes, and accelerate value delivery across the organization.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Bridge internal communication between technical, operational, and business teams, ensuring alignment and shared understanding across functions.

Coaching:

  • Build and coach a high-performing, cross-functional team while fostering a culture of continuous learning, and excellence.
  • Strategic Risk Management: Provide overall governance and insight into technology and market risks, to enable informed decision-making.


Pre-requisites:


You will be a strong fit for this role and will be invited for a conversation with us only if you bring:


  • Deep

    domain knowledge in the BFSI industries

  • Hands-on technical expertise

    in Data & AI solutions/services, preferably with certifications with Dataiku, AWS, Denodo, Databricks, Snowflake platfroms.
  • Demonstrated experience in

    pre-sales, professional network to acquire new business

    and

    post-sales delivery

    to delight clients, within a vendor environment
  • Successful track record

    of 15-20 years, to perform the above responsibilities in an IT services organization is a must
  • An
