Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Tirupur for the position of Executive – Transport. The role involves coordinating vehicle maintenance and transport operations to ensure safe and timely availability of vehicles. Day-to-day tasks include issuing service reminders, arranging servicing and repairs with workshops, tracking repair progress, verifying vehicles after service, and processing service bills. The executive also maintains transport records, coordinates with drivers and departments, ensures RTO compliance, and reports updates to senior management.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of transport operations, vehicle maintenance planning, and fleet coordination
• Experience in scheduling vehicle servicing/repairs, coordinating with workshops, and ensuring timely vehicle availability
• Ability to monitor repair progress, follow up with service centres, and verify vehicle condition after service completion
• Good knowledge of RTO rules and transport compliance requirements
• Strong problem-solving skills to handle breakdowns, workshop capacity issues, and service delays
• Excellent coordination and communication skills with drivers, vendors/workshops, and internal departments
• Good planning, time-management, and record-keeping skills with high attention to accuracy
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel/Word) and basic reporting/documentation
• Previous experience in transport/fleet management preferred
• Minimum educational qualification: BE / Diploma (Mechanical or relevant discipline preferred) with minimum 2 years’ experience in Transport Management
