Role & responsibilities

Job Title:

Job Purpose:

To grow Omron business on online platforms by managing, validating, and nurturing incoming leads from platforms like IndiaMart, exhibitions, website forms, and other marketing touchpoints. This role is critical for improving lead quality, supporting sales coordination, and enhancing customer experience through timely and structured engagement.
Nurture leads by connecting them on regular intervals via e-mail and telephone.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for leads received via platforms such as IndiaMart, exhibitions, conferences, and website forms.
  • Call and qualify incoming leads to assess the requirement, intent, and suitability before assigning them to the relevant sales team.
  • Maintain and manage a consolidated lead tracker to ensure follow-through and accountability.
  • Coordinate with sales teams to follow up on assigned leads and track the outcome (Won/Lost).
  • Support outbound calling campaigns to nurture non-converted or cold leads and revive engagement with potential customers.
  • Ensure structured and timely communication with prospects, enhancing first impressions and overall customer experience.
  • Regularly share status updates, lead quality data, and closure rates with the marketing and sales teams.
  • Collaborate with internal teams like Marketing, Sales, and Channel Management for streamlined lead flow and feedback.
  • Continuously work to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the lead qualification process.

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

Education:

  • Graduate (Any stream)
  • An engineering background is a plus

Experience:

  • 4-5 years of experience in telesales, customer support, or e-commerce lead management
  • Experience in B2B digital platform handling preferred

Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (both verbal and written)
  • Good proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Target-oriented, proactive approach to work
  • High sense of ownership and attention to detail
