Job Description

Role Purpose:


Quality Systems Management

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the plant’s Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with KORE, FSSC 22000, ISO, and FSSAI requirements.
  • Ensure QFS pillar compliance, traceability systems, and effective execution of mock recall exercises.
  • Ensure effective documentation control, record-keeping, and traceability systems.
  • Conduct periodic internal audits for QMS, Food Safety, GMP, and GHK.
  • Monitor compliance with statutory and regulatory standards, reporting deviations and ensuring timely closure.


Food Safety & Compliance

  • Drive CRC target achievement and monitor complaint traceability of finished goods. Conduct RCA (Root Cause Analysis) for customer complaints and Implement Corrective actions to minimize the CRC trend.
  • Lead the HACCP team; update HACCP plans, risk assessments, and process flow diagrams.
  • Monitor CCP/OPRP compliance across process and packaging lines.
  • Drive effective implementation of prerequisite programs (PRPs) including sanitation, allergen control, pest control, and water quality.
  • Ensure effective management of consumer complaints with RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).


Audits & Certifications

  • Prepare the plant for all internal, external, and third-party audits (OU, FSSAI, FSSC 22000, ISO, etc.).
  • Ensure timely closure of audit findings with effective corrective actions.
  • Lead certification renewal and surveillance audits for quality and food safety systems.


Continuous Improvement & Data Management

  • Analyze trends in quality deviations, consumer complaints, and audit findings to implement preventive measures.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of Quality KPIs (COPQ, consumer complaints, audit scores, CAPA status, document compliance, etc.).


Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Utilities, HR, and EHS teams to ensure integrated compliance.
  • Act as the single point of contact for regulatory authorities, OU quality team, and external certification bodies for system audits and updates.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • B.Tech / B.E. / M.Sc. in Food Technology, Dairy Technology, or related field.
  • 2-7 years of experience in Quality Systems, preferably in beverages in Coke system.
  • Strong knowledge of Quality & Food Safety systems (FSSC 22000, ISO, HACCP, GMP, GHK, FSSAI).
  • Hands-on experience in managing audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Exposure to SAP/ERP/Dynamic systems and digital quality tools preferred.
