Job Description

The Executive – Finance & Accounts will be responsible for handling day-to-day financial accounting operations, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, assisting in financial reporting, and supporting the overall finance function of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting activities including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
Prepare and maintain financial records in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Handle accounts payable and receivable, including vendor payments and customer collections.
Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Support statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits by coordinating with auditors and providing necessary documentation.
Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance filings.
Monitor budgets and track expenses to ensure cost control.
Prepare MIS reports, variance analysis, and management dashboards.
Support treasury operations including bank reconciliations and fund management.
Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality of financial data.

Key Skills Required

Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and Taxation (GST, TDS)
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP)
Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

Educational Qualification

B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter / CMA Inter

Experience

1–5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounts, preferably in a manufacturing or steel industry environment.
