Job Title: Accountant

Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with 3– 6 years of hands-on

accounting experience, preferably in a CA firm or corporate finance environment. The

ideal candidate will be responsible for managing books of accounts, statutory compliance,

and the preparation of financial reports for multiple clients. The role requires strong

technical knowledge, the ability to handle deadlines, and good communication skills to

coordinate with clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Financial Management

 Handle day-to-day accounting operations (Journal entries, GL, AP/AR, Bank

Reconciliation).

 Prepare and finalize financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).

 Assist in audits (Statutory, Internal, and Tax Audits), including working paper

preparation.

 MIS preparation and variance analysis for clients and management.

2. Taxation & Compliance

 Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF/ESI, PT returns.

 Prepare working papers for Tax Audit and other statutory compliances.

 Stay updated on accounting and tax regulations, ensuring compliance for all clients.

3. Software & Tools

 Proficiency in Accounting tools, Tally ERP / Tally Prime and MS Excel

 Knowledge of accounting portals (GST, TDS, Income Tax).

 Exposure to Zoho Books or other accounting ERP systems is an added advantage.

4. Client Coordination

 Interact with client teams to collect data, clarify queries, and ensure timely

deliverables.

 Support senior accountants/partners in client presentations and financial reviews.

Requirements

Experience: 3–6 years in accounting, compliance, and audit support (preferably in a

CA firm).

Education: Bachelor’s degree in commerce/finance/accounting.

Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, statutory compliances,

and reporting.

 Soft Skills:

o Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.

o Good communication and client-handling skills.

o Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.

o High integrity and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications

 Experience in a CA firm environment, handling multiple clients.

 Familiarity with audit processes and statutory filings.

 Knowledge of advanced Excel tools or BI tools (Power BI/Zoho Analytics) is a plus.
