Senior Accountant

Job Title: Accountant (4 to 5+ Years Experience)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant with 4 to 5+ years of hands-on

experience in accounting, who is proficient in Zoho accounting software. The ideal

candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with

accounting regulations, and contributing to the preparation of reports for decision-making.

This role requires someone who can work independently, manage multiple tasks efficiently,

and be well-versed in using Zoho tools to streamline accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

? Accounting Management:

o Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting activities.

o Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring

accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

? Zoho Software Utilisation:

o Use Zoho Books and other Zoho applications to manage accounting

processes, including invoicing, billing, and financial reporting.

o Customise Zoho accounting modules to streamline workflows and improve

operational efficiency.

? Tax and Compliance:

o Ensure timely and accurate filing of taxes, including GST, TDS, and other

statutory compliances.

o Stay updated on changes in tax laws and accounting regulations, ensuring the

organisation remains compliant.

? Financial Planning & Reporting:

o Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial models for senior management and

stakeholders.

o Analyse the financial data to assist in decision-making, improving profitability

and financial health.

o Assist with cash flow management and financial projections.

Requirements:

? Experience:

o Minimum 4 to 5+ years of experience in accounting, with a proven track record

in managing financial operations.

o Prior experience using Zoho Books, Zoho CRM, Zoho Analytics, or other

Zoho Suite tools are highly desirable.

? Skills & Knowledge:

o Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax

compliance.

o Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

o Strong Excel skills for financial modelling and data analysis.

? Education:

o Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

o Certification in Accounting (e.g., CPA, CA) is preferred but not required.

? Soft Skills:

o Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

o High degree of integrity and professionalism.

o Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to handle

multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

? Experience in working with accounting teams in a corporate or CA firm

environment.

? Familiarity with other Zoho products, such as Zoho CRM, Zoho Projects, etc., will be

an added advantage.
