Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and high-performing Event Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth in the events division. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and extensive experience in managing client relationships, preparing budgets, closing deals, and guiding a team towards achieving sales targets.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Client Management

  • Lead and manage the event sales function to achieve monthly and annual targets.
  • Act as a key point of contact for high-value clients and major event projects.
  • Understand client requirements thoroughly and provide strategic solutions.
  • Prepare and present customized event proposals, quotations, and budgets.
  • Maintain and grow strong client relationships to ensure repeat and referral business.
  • Oversee negotiations and contract closures with professionalism.

Team Leadership & Management

  • Manage, mentor, and supervise the sales team to ensure high performance.
  • Assign targets, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback and training.
  • Conduct team meetings to track sales pipeline and performance metrics.
  • Ensure team members follow processes for documentation, follow-ups, and reporting.

Coordination & Execution

  • Work closely with the event operations, production, and creative teams for project execution.
  • Participate in client meetings, venue visits, and pre-event planning sessions.
  • Ensure smooth communication across all teams for timely delivery.

Reporting & Strategy

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase business opportunities.
  • Prepare and analyze sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews.
  • Identify new markets, partnerships, and business expansion opportunities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in the events industry (corporate/weddings/production).
  • Proven track record in event sales, client handling, and team management.
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, pricing, proposal making, and sales negotiations.
  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (Malayalam added advantage).
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage a team and drive results under deadlines.
  • Ready to join immediately.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, venues, and event supervision when required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹16,185.79 - ₹42,809.36 per month
