About the Role

Event Sales Executive

This role requires strong communication, industry understanding, and the ability to build long-term business relationships with exhibitors, event organizers, and corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell exhibition booths and event participation packages for international and domestic events.
  • Generate new leads through cold calling, networking, LinkedIn outreach, and industry connections.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and decision-makers.
  • Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and event participation plans.
  • Meet monthly revenue targets and ensure consistent pipeline growth.
  • Provide accurate sales reports to management.
  • Understand event layouts, hall plans, booth categories, and pricing structures.
  • Coordinate with event organizers and internal teams for smooth client onboarding.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience:

  • 3–5 years of proven sales experience in

    events, exhibitions, or expo industry

    (MANDATORY).
  • Experience selling booths for expos, B2B fairs, international events, or trade shows.

Sales Skills:

  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills.
  • Ability to explain event zones, hall categories, and booth benefits clearly.
  • Strong relationship-building & client handling skills.
  • Target-driven approach with a high level of motivation.
  • Ability to handle objections and convert leads to confirmed bookings.
  • Good understanding of event industry trends and exhibitor requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and Google Workspace.
  • Knowledge of international event markets is an advantage.
