MECA – Medisky Events, Catering & Amenities
, a dedicated events and experience management vertical.
Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and detail-oriented
Event Manager
to lead the planning and execution of major events across the Medisky ecosystem. Initially, the Event Manager will oversee
Medisky Sharod Utsav 2025
, one of our flagship cultural initiatives, and subsequently manage a calendar of sports, cultural, corporate, and social events. By the end of 2025, the Event Manager will play a pivotal role in laying the foundation for
MECA
, evolving into a leadership position within this new venture.
Key Responsibilities
Phase 1: Medisky Group (Sept–Dec 2025)
- Lead the end-to-end planning, budgeting, and execution of
Medisky Sharod Utsav 2025
. - Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, HR, hospitality, Medisky Sports, Medisky Nursing, etc.) to align branding and engagement.
- Manage vendors, caterers, decorators, performers, and suppliers to deliver a world-class festival experience.
- Ensure smooth logistics—venue setup, permissions, security, crowd management, hospitality, and post-event closure.
- Monitor and track expenses, ensuring adherence to budget while maximizing impact.
- Handle publicity, PR, and community engagement in coordination with Medisky communications team.
Phase 2: Transition to MECA (from Jan 2026 onwards)
- Develop the
MECA framewor
k (Medisky Events, Catering & Amenities) with guidance from Group leadership - .Build SOPs, vendor networks, event packages, and service verticals (corporate events, weddings, sports tournaments, cultural festivals, catering solutions)
- .Recruit, train, and manage a growing event operations team
- .Innovate and deliver signature Medisky experiences that reflect creativity, efficiency, and luxury
- .Establish MECA as a professional, profit-driven unit with external clients in addition to Medisky’s in-house projects

Qualifications & Skill
- s
Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing (MBA preferred ).2–3 years of proven experien
ce in large-scale event management, festivals, or corporate event- s.Strong vendor management and negotiation skill
- s.Excellent organizational and multitasking ability with a creative mindse
- t.High interpersonal and communication skills; fluency in English, Hindi, and Bengali preferre
