The Opportunity:


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sponsorship Sales Support:

    Actively support the senior sales team in identifying, pitching, and securing sponsorships from corporate brands, luxury goods companies, and financial institutions for our annual shows and awards.
  • Awards Sales Execution:

    Drive sales for participation and table bookings for our high-profile industry award ceremonies, targeting creative agencies, design studios, media houses, and high-net-worth individuals.
  • Lead Generation & Qualification:

    Conduct targeted research to build a robust pipeline of potential sponsors, exhibitors, and award participants, focusing on brands aligning with the luxury and design ethos of India Designer Show.
  • Sales Outreach:

    Execute a high volume of professional outreach via cold calling, email campaigns, and LinkedIn messaging to initiate contact with key decision-makers (Marketing Managers, Brand Heads).
  • Pitch Material Preparation:

    Assist in customizing sales decks, presentations, and initial proposals under the guidance of the Sales Manager.
  • Client Relationship Nurturing:

    Handle initial client inquiries, provide necessary event details, and maintain professional correspondence to move leads through the sales funnel.
  • CRM & Reporting:

    Accurately update all sales activities, pipeline status, and client interactions in the CRM system to ensure transparent tracking and forecasting.
  • Networking:

    Attend industry events and networking functions to represent India Designer Show and generate new leads.


What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a client-facing role, preferably within the events, media, advertising, or luxury sector.

  • Prior exposure or experience in contributing to sponsorship sales or award participation/table sales is highly advantageous.

  • Proven ability to handle cold outreach and overcome initial objections.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with a polished and professional phone and email manner.
  • High level of personal motivation, ambition, and a strong target-driven mentality.
  • Basic familiarity with sales processes and CRM tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as an effective team member in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
