Event Executive

As a Sales and Marketing Assistant at Marriott International, your role involves updating the information board regularly to keep employees informed about important events. You will provide assistance and guidance to employees facing challenges in their job duties, such as low package sales numbers. Assign lead calls or emails to Sales Executives based on line rotation and create spreadsheets to organize Sales and Marketing activities information like mailing lists and tours. It will also be your responsibility to enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify information in the software involved in the sales process. In your role, you will need to contact the appropriate individual or department to resolve guest calls, requests, or problems promptly. Promoting brand image internally and externally is crucial, along with utilizing sales techniques to maximize revenue while ensuring guest loyalty. Encourage guests to purchase or schedule preview package sales/tours and address any questions about property facilities/services. Additionally, you will assist management in various tasks such as hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees. You are expected to report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager and follow all company policies and procedures diligently. Anticipate and address guest service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and maintain positive working relationships with others. Qualifications Required: - Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent. - Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience. - Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required. - License or Certification: None needed.
