Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Event Coordinator to design, plan, and execute a vibrant calendar of activities. The role will involve organizing weekly workshops, field visits, and monthly events that showcase talent, foster industry connections, and enrich the learning experience for students across all design disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain a master schedule of weekly workshops, field trips, and monthly flagship events.

- Liaise with faculty, industry experts, guest artists, and venue partners to secure speakers, materials, and locations.

- Coordinate logistics including budgeting, promotion, registration, and on‑site execution for each event.

- Track attendance, gather feedback, and prepare post‑event reports for management.

- Manage vendor contracts, invoices, and ensure compliance with institute policies.

- Maintain up‑to‑date event documentation on the institute’s internal system.

- Support student‑led initiatives and ensure alignment with academic objectives.

- Oversee social‑media promotion for all events: create and schedule posts, engage with attendees online, and monitor analytics to refine outreach strategies.

Required Qualifications

- Any degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field. (Not Mandatory)

- Minimum 1 year experience planning and executing events, preferably within educational or creative industries.

- Strong knowledge of best social media practices.

- Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.

- Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.

- Proficiency with event‑management software, Microsoft Office, and social‑media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
