About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive security testing on Academia ERP platforms (web & mobile)
• Identify, document, and report vulnerabilities in the entire application ecosystem
• Simulate real-world attacks to uncover hidden risks and loopholes
• Collaborate with development teams to recommend secure coding practices
• Perform penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and source code analysis
• Assist in creating security awareness and best practices across tech teams
• Provide actionable insights aligned with OWASP, NIST, and other industry standards.

Education & Experience:

• Strong proficiency in web application and mobile security testing
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with tools like Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Kali Linux, and Metasploit
• Working knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and common threat vectors
• Experience in testing APIs, role-based access controls, and session management
• Familiarity with GDPR, ISO27001, and data protection protocols is a plus
• Ability to communicate findings clearly and recommend remediation steps
• Certifications such as CEH, OSCP, or comparable credentials are preferred
