ESG Manager

We are looking for a skilled sustainability professional to join ‘Nxtra by Airtel’ ESG team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding in multiple sustainability domains such as GHG inventorization, water, waste, diversity & inclusion, sustainability reporting, governance, sustainable supply chain etc. The candidate should be self-driven, have a good awareness of digital and technology trends.

Responsibilities:

• Drives ESG initiatives and strategies with various internal stakeholders for data centers
• Contributes to ESG reporting processes and other disclosures
• Identify opportunities in ESG disclosures and work in collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve upon disclosures
• Monitoring the sustainability initiatives and ensuring that the program stays on track
• Collecting the data against sustainability KPIs on a monthly basis and developing insights for improvement
• Identifying ESG related risks and developing an action plan to mitigate the risks
• Works with external stakeholders to implement Scope 3 reduction strategies
• Supports individual buildings projects with subject matter expertise
• Proactively responds to ESG requirements from clients
• Coordinating the organization’s Sustainability journey, acting as a bridge between the businesses and corporate leadership.

Qualifications:

• Experience working in or with global corporate organizations driving ESG initiatives
• Good understanding of data and technology levers and their role in driving sustainability goals.
• Up to date knowledge of ESG regulations, trends and reporting frameworks
• Self-motivated and detail oriented
• Demonstrated leadership and adaptability skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong presentation skills.
• Curiosity, commitment to learning and development, and willingness to learn fast.

Education:

• Bachelor’s in Engineering, Sustainability or related technical degree
• Master’s Degree in Technology or Science beneficial
• ESG related certification/license beneficial
