Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Environmental Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science or engineering, with hands-on experience in pollution control, regulatory compliance, and sustainability practices in industrial or plant settings. This role involves the design, implementation, and management of environmental protection systems, ensuring compliance with legal and industry standards such as ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and CBAM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Regulatory Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental laws and guidelines set by the Pollution Control Board (PCB) and other regulatory bodies.
• Support the organization in achieving and maintaining certifications such as ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety), and CBAM (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism).
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for environmental audits and inspections.
• Pollution Control & Environmental Management:
• Design and implement systems to monitor and reduce air, water, and soil pollution in plant and factory environments.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of pollution control equipment and suggest improvements or upgrades.
• Conduct risk assessments and environmental impact assessments (EIA) as required.
• Reporting & Documentation:
• Prepare, review, and update environmental reports, presentations, and regulatory submissions.
• Draft research papers, technical articles, and internal communication materials related to environmental initiatives.
• Liaise with relevant government departments, certification bodies, and internal teams to ensure smooth communication and compliance.
• Sustainability & Process Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for sustainability initiatives and drive continuous improvement in environmental performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement energy-saving, waste reduction, and resource optimization programs.
• Software & Technical Skills:
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation, data analysis, and reporting.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
