to drive the vision, structure, and governance of scalable, secure, and highly efficient data ecosystems within a distributed data mesh environment. In this strategic role, you will lead enterprise-wide data design initiatives, enabling seamless integration, trusted data exchange, and analytical accessibility across multiple business domains.What You Will Do
Define and implement end-to-end data architecture strategies supporting operational and analytical workloads.Develop enterprise-level data models—conceptual, logical, and physical—to support evolving business needs and analytical insights.Collaborate with domain teams, business stakeholders, and data consumers to define requirements and translate them into practical and scalable data solutions.Establish and maintain documentation for data models, lineage, data flows, business glossaries, and metadata repositories.Implement and uphold standardized modeling approaches such as dimensional, canonical, and flattened structures tailored for analytics.Lead the deployment of medallion/lakehouse data architecture across ingestion, refinement, and consumption layers.Support the creation and maintenance of decentralized data products within a federated data mesh framework.Define and enforce enterprise-wide data governance, data quality rules, and metadata management standards.Create strategic data blueprints, architecture maps, and enterprise landscape views.Partner with technical and business leaders to influence data-driven decision-making and modernization initiatives.What You Bring
Technical Expertise
Strong knowledge of enterprise data modeling methodologies and tools (preferably Erwin Data Modeler).Hands-on experience designing models including dimensional, canonical, and domain-oriented models.Practical experience with lakehouse/medallion architecture across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers.Familiarity with data governance, data lineage, and metadata frameworks.Experience working with Collibra or equivalent governance platforms.Solid understanding of distributed & decentralized data platforms and domain-driven data structures.Architecture & Leadership
Proven experience designing or supporting Data Mesh implementations.Ability to architect end-to-end data landscapes capturing sources, flows, and transformation layers.Experience creating reference architectures, enterprise blueprints, and architecture standards.Soft & Leadership Skills
Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to influence senior leaders and domain owners.Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation capabilities.Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.Passion for establishing best practices, governance discipline, and scalable data ecosystems.Core Competencies
