As a leader, you will be
Facilitating discussions and lead decision making on all engineering aspects of his/her teamAble to define and execute the engineering plans for the areas under his/her ownershipDrive engineering best practices for the teamDefine, implement and maintain the hygiene of the production systems (both engineering and processes) for the areas under his/her ownershipResponsible for the health of the business directly owned by the teamChallenging business & product on outcomes, channelize feedback into execution and be accountable for engineering outputsHiring, mentoring, and retaining a best-of-class engineering teamResponsible for all stakeholder management including but not limited to business, product, operations and clients/vendorsAs a leader, you must haveProven skills designing and developing simple to complex solutions including experience in designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems.Proven track record building and managing high-performing software development teamsPractical experience and ability to drive design and architecture of multiple subsystems with other senior members in the teamBTech, MTech, or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical discipline (orequivalent).8+ years of software development experience and 3+ years in leading teamsExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely to a variety of audiencesPast experience with startups and fast paced environments is an added advantageAbout PhonePe : Our goal is to make digital payments so easy, safe and universally accepted that people never feel the need to carry cash or cards again.
