Role Overview :

We are looking for a dynamic and technically strong Engineering Manager with deep expertise in Android development and the ability to scale across iOS and Web platforms. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-growth, product-first environment and can lead cross-functional engineering teams toward scalable architecture, faster iterations, and delightful user experiences.

Key Responsibilities :

Technology & Architecture Leadership :

- Own and drive the frontend and Android engineering strategy - from scalable architecture and rapid iteration to performance optimization and design system collaboration.

- Define and evolve the technical roadmap across mobile and frontend platforms.

Team Leadership & People Management :

- Mentor and grow a team of high-performing engineers.

- Lead hiring, onboarding, and team-building initiatives to ensure the right culture and capabilities.

- Foster cross-platform collaboration across Android, iOS, and Web teams.

Execution & Delivery :

- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality features by setting clear goals, milestones, and accountability.

- Maintain a strong focus on code quality, CI/CD, performance metrics, and operational excellence.

- Balance tech debt and new feature development with a long-term view.

Product & Business Alignment :

- Act as a bridge between engineering and product teams to align on scope, define priorities, and translate business needs into execution plans.

- Communicate timelines, progress, and risks transparently with stakeholders.

What We're Looking For:

- 7-9 years of overall experience, with at least 5 years in Android development(Kotlin/Java) and 2+ years in a leadership or management role.

- Strong foundation in mobile architecture, system design, and scalable frontend practices.

- Prior experience leading teams across multiple platforms (Android, iOS(Swift), Web(React/Javascript)).

- Deep understanding of CI/CD, app performance metrics, and monitoring tools.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Startup or growth-stage experience is a big plus.
