Of the $44B, the temples drive GMV of ~$27B in temple offerings, services, and commerce. There are 2M+ temples in India - about 10k of these temples have a strong historical and cultural significance. Tourism to these religious places is a $10B opportunity. The Sri Mandir app is the world’s largest app for Hindu devotees and growing 20-25% month-on-month. About the Role – Product Design Internship As a Product Design Intern , you will work closely with our design team to craft user-centric, intuitive, and delightful digital experiences . You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Business, and Data teams to learn and contribute to design processes, research, prototyping, and visual execution. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a high-growth startup and work on impactful projects that touch millions of users. Key Responsibilities- User Experience & Interface Design Assist in creating wireframes, prototypes, and UI designs for new features. Work with senior designers to translate user needs into engaging experiences . Ensure consistency across all designs by following design systems & brand guidelines . Design Research & Usability Testing Support user research by gathering insights through interviews, surveys, and usability tests. Analyze feedback to help refine designs and enhance user experience. Work with data analysts & product managers to gain insights into user behavior. Visual & Interaction Design Help create pixel-perfect UI components and micro-interactions. Use tools like Figma, Uizard or Adobe XD to develop interactive design assets. Experiment with motion design using Principle, ProtoPie, or AfterEffects. Collaboration & Learning Work alongside engineers and product managers to bring designs to life. Participate in design critiques, brainstorming sessions, and team discussions . Stay updated on UX trends, best practices, and new tools . What We’re Looking For Passion for design and a strong interest in UX/UI for mobile and web platforms. Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD for wireframing & prototyping. Expertise in AI Tools like Midjourney, Dalle & UiZard is a plus. Basic understanding of user research methodologies (surveys, interviews, usability testing). Strong attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics & visual consistency. Ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with motion design (Principle, ProtoPie, AfterEffects) is a plus. A portfolio showcasing design projects (college work, personal projects, or internships). Interest in faith-tech and building meaningful experiences is a major plus!
