Job Description

Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components. Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India’s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence. Tata Electronics is a subsidiary of the Tata group. The Tata Group operates in more than 100 countries across six continents, with the mission 'To improve the quality of life of the communities we serve globally, through long term stakeholder value creation based on leadership with Trust.’ Responsibilities: Partner with Digital/IT team for design and development of the Yield Management software and Database Design and create a Data Integration framework that collects data from different sources. (E-test, Defect Inspection, Inline Metrology, Sort) Yield Analysis Tools: Develop algorithms for data analysis to enable root cause understanding and yield optimization Partner with PI/YE, CFM teams and vendors to enable continuous system improvements Automation & Reporting: Generate Automated yield reports. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Product Engineering and Process Integration teams to get requirements to build the software to support yield management. System Maintenance & Scalability: Reliability and scalability of the software for high volume data. Present updates to internal and customer senior executives. Travel as required. Qualifications: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent; Advanced degree preferred Experience in data analysis, failure/defect analysis and yield improvement Strong understanding of device physics, process integration, yield improvement, failure mechanisms Can write basic code (eg. Python, C++) Familiarity with statistical techniques and data visualization techniques Familiarity with operations dashboards Familiarity with process modules and metrology/defect inspection tools Familiarity with AI/ML basics Innovation mindset Desired Experience Level: 5+ years’ experience in the semiconductor industry with specific experience in E-test / Wafer Sort Proven structured problem-solving skills using 8D and other methods Has programmed and managed E-test systems Show more Show less
