This role is key to establishing our fab’s reputation for delivering highly reliable ESD products for advanced applications. The successful candidate is responsible for the development and implementation of various kind of Protection devices and methods to protect integrated circuits from electrostatic discharge (ESD) and latch-up. This role involves extensive research and development, customer support, and collaboration with various teams (process integration, PDK/Layout, and quality) to ensure the reliability and safety of semiconductor devices. Maintain an ESD device library, Design Manual to support internal and external teams. Responsible for Tapeout Sign off from ESD team. Key Responsibilities: ESD Engineer (Senior/Mid-level) Development and Implementation: Define the ESD methodology for all silicon developed by DF1 and to specify the chip and IP level ESD requirements. Design and develop devices and methods for ESD and latch-up protection of integrated circuits. Perform debug and failure analysis for ESD devices and related circuits.
