Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled PLC & SCADA Engineer to support automation and control systems in semiconductor manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Rockwell PLCs and Aveva System Platform SCADA, and a strong background in designing, programming, and commissioning automation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Represent the client in the design, development, and commissioning of PLC and SCADA systems for semiconductor facilities.
2. Review and validate contractor/vendor programming of Rockwell Automation PLCs (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, MicroLogix).
3. Supervise the development and integration of Aveva System Platform SCADA applications, ensuring alignment with client standards.
4. Coordinate integration of control systems with FMCS, BMS, and third-party equipment for seamless interoperability.
5. Lead and witness FAT/SAT activities, troubleshoot issues, and support system optimization from the client’s perspective.
6. Collaborate with internal client teams and external stakeholders including process, electrical, and safety engineers.
7. Ensure proper documentation is maintained, including logic diagrams, control narratives, and commissioning records.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical or related field)
2. 8+ years of experience in PLC & SCADA engineering.
3. Proven experience with Rockwell PLCs and Aveva System Platform.
4. Experience in

   semiconductor or high-tech industrial

   projects is mandatory.
5. Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (EtherNet/IP, Modbus, Profinet, Profibus, HART, OPC UA).
6. Familiarity with semiconductor fab utility automation and safety interlocks.
7. Knowledge of FMCS, HVAC control, and Life Safety Systems.
8. Experience with SCADA-HMI development and alarm management.
9. Ability to interpret P&IDs, control schematics, and wiring diagrams.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Developer certification for Aveva System Platform and Rockwell Control Systems.
2. Experience with the latest technologies in predictive maintenance, such as: AI-based diagnostics, IoT sensors for real-time monitoring, Data analytics for failure prediction and system optimization
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
