Job Description

Job Responsibilities :

Digitization and Improvement of plant operation/efficiencies through development and deployment of advanced automation and data analytics converging Information Technology(IT) with operational Technology(OT),
This is a unique opportunity to join a new, multidisciplinary team of highly enthusiastic individuals destined to adopt new technologies. We are focused on high-impact projects utilizing big data analytics and machine learning to improve manufacturing operations.

ou will work with cross-functional team members to identify and prioritize actionable, high-impact insights across a variety of core business areas. You will learn & lead applied analytics initiatives that are leveraged across the breadth of our solutions for Refinery, Petrochemicals, polymer and chemicals industries
  • Carry out in-house conceptual studies for developing advanced control system architecture
  • Develop advanced analytic solutions, test and deploy them in plants.
  • Lead data acquisition and extraction, data management and apply quantitative and qualitative analytical techniques
  • Coordinate with Procurement and Logistics team for on-time delivery of Project materials
  • Coordination with Engineering Consultant and Vendors for finalization of engineering deliverables
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders at sites for implementation & embedding of the new technology solution, coordinate with partner/vendor for project execution.
  • Address/resolve application related issues faced by internal customers, Translate usability and field implementation findings into design improvements.
  • Communicate with internal teams & external clients to deliver functional requirements like GUI, screen, and interface designs, Review process automation documents, plan & schedule end user trainings
  • Assisting Project managers in defining project objectives, scope and ensuring delivery and implementation of the solution.

Education Requirement :

  • Minimum Bachelor#s Degree in Engineering

Experience Requirement :

5 to 9 years# experience preferably in Plant operation or CES
  • Administering data historian (IP-21)
  • Exposure to Big data analytics, MATLAB would be added advantage
  • Ability to learn new technologies
Knowledge of Hadoop, HANA, Big Data, SAS, Python, R-programming will be added advantage

Skills & Competencies :

  • Good Communication Skills
  • Sufficient Knowledge of statistical modelling, machine learning, OPC, APC
  • Should be conversant and should have hands on experience in design of Supervisory Data Acquisition System (SCADA), DCS, PLCs,
  • Familiarisation with various measurement systems, advanced automation technologies, process data historian, Manufacturing Execution System
